WHO WE ARE
We are an Antwerp based non-profit organization dedicated to projects at the intersection of culture and the economy. These projects strengthen the participation, inclusion, and resilience of local residents, communities, and entrepreneurs. Our role addresses a clear societal need, focusing on Antwerp residents who are underrepresented in civic and cultural life. They often face barriers to finding fair opportunities and struggle to build the social or economic networks essential for the well-being and prosperity needed to thrive in a digital society.
Through accessible cultural projects and partnerships, involving communities, artists, residents, organizations, entrepreneurs, and public partners, we create tangible opportunities for people to meet, participate, develop skills, and contribute to their neighborhoods. Here, culture is not an end in itself, but a means to build trust, activate local talent, and connect communities that might otherwise remain apart.
With financial support channeled through this non-profit organization, we aim to increase the reach, quality, and continuity of these initiatives. The expected impact includes greater participation by underrepresented residents, stronger collaboration among local partners, improved access to cultural and civic life, and tangible social value for Antwerp’s communities.
All of this fosters equal opportunities that support a healthy society and economy. Funding enables us to scale up culture-driven initiatives that make Antwerp more connected, inclusive, and future proof, ensuring the benefits reach the residents and neighborhoods that need them most. The strength of Antwerp lies in its residents, cultural communities, artists, and entrepreneurs. 'The World Diamond Song' project can transform shared cultural energy into economic opportunities, empower individuals, and foster closer-knit communities, with the aim of creating a more inclusive city.
