Where do I begin

My journey began in Antwerp in 1996 when, in my twenties, I decided to cross the border from the Netherlands into Belgium. I first settled in Leuven for two years, where my father had obtained a good position as a musician at the Lemmens Institute and where I had family.

I was supposed to go to Paris next, but fate had other plans. Instead, I stayed in Belgium and moved to the beautiful Antwerp diamond city.

I have never regretted the choices I have made in life because I believe everything happens for a reason and is written in the stars. However, with the knowledge and experience I have now, I would handle things differently.

Like anyone else, my journey has been filled with beautiful moments, trials and errors, happiness and sorrow, and periods of survival with and without money. But I never gave up on my dream, inspired by a vision I had in 2013. It showed me how we could boost the Antwerp economy and improve everyone's lives. This will only work, though, if everyone gets on board and opens their hearts so that the sun shines on us all. So let's take the first step towards a prosperous future together by designing 'The World Diamond Song', which carries a powerful message of respect for one another.
